How often should you replace your pillow?

No bed is complete without the most important essential: A Pillow. The soft, comforting, breathable, and cozy texture keeps your head protected and relaxed as if you’re sleeping on cloud 9.  But when it comes to the time to replace a pillow, we all have that sense of not wanting to let go of something we cherished the most and having to start something new.

Experts say that we should be replacing our pillows every 1 to 2 years. Why? Because replacing pillows helps with: promoting hygiene, reducing allergies, and best of all, pain, pain, go away.

Why should I replace it if I like my own pillow just fine?

Some would say: “But I like how my pillow is. Why should I even change it?”, well, let me tell you this:

  1. Your head & shoulders are crying for help from all the pain.
  2. The pillow just isn’t hygiene anymore
  3. They’re not as supportive as they use to be.

But what really makes someone want to replace their pillow for another one is simple: Dirt. From dust mites to mold, these health hazards can cause itchy skin, runny nose, acne, eye irritation, and making sleep almost impossible.

What can I replace my old pillow with?

You have a variety of pillows to choose from. For instance, everyone knows how Cotton is the oldest and most common material in a pillow. Being affordable for your desired price range.

Feather, the oldest and most commonly used material in pillow manufacturing: Durable and breathable.

Latex foam is soft, breathable, and best of all, helps your body relax. Natural Latex is both biodegradable and eco-friendly, making it durable and safe for the environment.

Memory foam is becoming a popular one in today’s markets. Our patented memory foam, Memoform; is designed to react to the weight of the neck and shoulders, offering a pleasant feeling of lightness while you rest. The GINO Pillow comes with a removable cover made from our signature performance fabric with silver fiber. The pillow cover is also machine washable, helping to keep bacteria away. Thanks to the Airyform technology, the channels present throughout the pillow core allow for optimal breathability and dispersion of moisture and heat, ensuring your pillow stays cool all night long. The 3D fabric used on the backside of the pillow further increases its extreme breathability for a pleasant and lasting feeling of freshness. GiNO pillows are also made by using only breathable and hypoallergenic materials that are Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified and 100% Made in Italy.

Replacing a pillow doesn’t mean a piece of you is going to go away, think of it as a fresh start with a feeling of freshness and best of all a 3-year warranty meaning that our pillows have a longer duration for your comfort.

What do you mean by comfort level?

The amount of comfort level is based on how you want your pillow to be. How often do you feel like adjusting your pillow to make it more comfortable to your liking? There are 3 types of comfort levels:

  • Firm
  • Medium
  • Plush

Before you start purchasing another pillow, think about the kind of comfort you want and how does it benefit your body. Do you want a pillow that is durable and firm or a pillow that is as plush as a cloud? Sometimes, it’s hard to let go of our most treasured memories, but as time goes by, we learn to let go of things and make a new start.

As always buona note e sogni d’oro

From yours truly
